“In the aftermath of the settlement between Apple and Qualcomm more details have emerged of how the iPhone maker looked to cripple its chip rival’s licensing business model. Court documents filed in preparation for the trial, that started in a federal courtroom in San Diego shortly before the agreement to end the two-year fight was announced, reveal that Apple was actively hatching a plan to challenge Qualcomm as far back as 2014.”
